From London to New York, Copenhagen, Manila, and annual trips to Tokyo, the Danish-Japanese singer-songwriter grew up listening to what was popular in the various countries she lived in and started writing her own music at the age of 15.

Today, Mina Okabe is traveling the world with her music, reaching a global audience who discovered her with the release of her debut album ‘Better Days’ – including songs like ‘Every Second’, ‘Walk Away’ and ‘I’m Done’ and was released to nothing but five-star reviews, now certified 4 x Platinum and had Mina selected as Spotify Radar Artist and Apple Music’s One To Watch.

To this date, Mina Okabe’s back catalogue has amassed more than 500.000.000 streams across the globe and platforms.

In the spring of 2024, the Danish-Japanese artist was honored as “New Artist of the Year” at The Japan Gold Disc Awards, validating her rapid ascent in the music industry and the great international hype and success has embarked Mina Okabe on several tours, including notable festival bookings like Roskilde Festival (Denmark), Seoul Jazz Festival (Korea), SXSW (US), Summer Sonic (Japan) and her headliner shows in China, She most recently made a stop at the Eurosonic Festival in the Netherlands at which Mina Okabe was nominated for the European MME Awards.
